We use gross motor skills for all sorts of physical activities, from running to raking leaves. Most people use these skills easily and automatically. Example of Gross Motor Skills are: Sitting, Standing, Walking, Jumping, Running, Lifting (A spoon, hairbrush, barbell) and Kicking.
